Product Introduction

A switched Hall IC is a magnetic sensor chip with built-in Hall elements, comparators, and amplifiers, which can detect the strength of the magnetic field and compare it with a set threshold to output a high and low level signal. According to the requirements of the detection mode, it can be divided into two types: latch type and switch type. The bipolar latching type is often used to detect the rotational speed in the drive circuit of BLDC brushless DC motors. The switching type is divided into unipolar type and omnipolar type according to the requirements of polarity change, and is often used for non-contact magnetic induction detection.

Unipolar switch Hall operates with a single north magnetic pole.

Unipolar switch Hall operates using a single south magnetic pole.

The omnipolar switch Hall senses both north and south directions.

The latching switch hall has the function of locking the output state, and operates continuously in the positive and negative magnetic fields.
